Video: 2016 Porsche Rennsport Australia Festival highlights

Last year, it was all about Rennsport Reunion, the world’s largest gathering of Porsches, held every four-to-five years, most recently on America’s West Coast at Laguna Seca Raceway.

The success of the Reunion (particularly the fifth instalment last year) has led to other territories starting their own Porsche racing festivals, with one of the largest taking place last month Down Under.

The 2016 Porsche Rennsport Australia Festival – held at Sydney Motorsport Park (formerly known as Eastern Creek) – enthralled over 5,000 Porsche fans with 450 different examples of Zuffenhausen machinery, both on track and on display.

From two races for the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia field, to Martini Racing 935 demo runs, our Antipodean comrades weren’t left wanting for Rennsport wonders, making it the most successful edition of the event so far.
