2014 Total 911 Photo of the Year winner announced

You’ve all been busy voting for the last seven days, helping to decide our 2014 Total 911 Photo of the Year. Now, with voting closing at 9:30am GMT this morning we can announce our inaugural winner.

It was a close run thing, with the lead changing numerous times throughout the last week since the shortlist was announced. However, despite a late charge, our Photo of the Year winner is “991 Turbo in Paris” by Phil Steinhardt.

991 Turbo in Paris

Taken during Lee’s excursion to Paris, the Guards Red Porsche 991 Turbo looks resplendent outside a Parisian cabaret. When we first saw the shot in the office during issue 109’s creation, our jaws hit the floor, so it is a truly deserving winner.

Second place goes to Rob Till’s “Classic 911 Targa at speed”, a superb tracking shot with plenty of pace and emotion, while “993 GT2 Evo into the dawn” by Charles Russell wound up third.

And, just in case you didn’t believe us, in the interests of transparency, the final voting rundown can be seen at the bottom of this page.
