Patrick Long shows us how you hustle a ’67 Porsche 911S around Laguna Seca

With another week still to go until the racing season kicks off at the 24 Hours of Daytona, we’re itching for some Porsche 911 motorsport action. That itch needed scratching, so we embarked upon a YouTube hunt to find a suitable remedy.

This offering (from US racing magazine ‘Racer’) isn’t new – it was filmed at last year’s Monterey Festival – but it is certainly worth another watch just to listen to that tuned 2.0-litre flat six sing all the way to 8,100rpm!

Behind the wheel is factory Porsche ace, Patrick Long (more often seen behind the wheel of the latest 991 RSR). Around the Californian Laguna Seca Raceway, he certainly shows us how to hustle a classic 911. Spectacular stuff!
