Video: Falken Motorsports at the 2014 N24

Completing one single, unscathed lap of the 12.93-mile Nurburgring Nordschleife is considered an achievement to many a petrolhead, but racing around the Green Hell for 24 gruelling hours is an entirely different proposition altogether.

Tyre giants Falken Motorsports are no strangers to competing twice round the clock at the famous Nurburgring – and heading into the 2014 race, the team looked to build on last year’s heroic battle where a podium looked inevitable before an accident so cruelly dictated a rather different finish. This time around, you’ll know Falken enjoyed a race without calamity and finished this year’s 24-hour race in fourth position.

Despite finishing as the first and fastest Porsche at the N24, this meant Team Falken’s 997 GT3R just missed out on a coveted podium finish. And, in the team’s latest video epic, you can relive the highlights from the race from a Falken perspective – and learn why, in the words of the team, P4 from the race was not enough!
