Tuthill Porsche release Safari Rally movie trailer
Tuthill Porsche has released a two-minute trailer of their upcoming documentary that goes behind the scenes during the team’s 2013 East African Safari Classic Rally campaign.
The film will follow the team’s extensive 18-month preparation period leading up to the biannual event, alongside exclusive behind the scenes footage, onboard action with the team’s Porsche 911 drivers, and interviews.
Taking place in November 2013, the latest edition of the car-breaking East African Safari Classic Rally saw Tuthill’s 17 rally-prepared Porsche 911s face a 3,900-kilometre loop through Kenya and Tanzania.
Tuthill’s Stig Blomqvist (the 1984 World Rally Champion) found himself in a rally-long tussle for victory with local driver, Ian Duncan. After an incredibly tense battle, the victor was only decided 20 kilometres from the finish line.
“What we witnessed on last year’s Safari was extraordinary,” enthuses Tuthill Managing Director, Richard Tuthill. “It is the ultimate adventure story and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”
The full documentary will be released on Monday 10 February however, if you can’t wait that long, you can read about Tuthill Porsche’s Safari adventures in the latest issue of Total 911, available now in store, online at the Imagine Shop, and to download at Great Digital Mags.
