Total 911’s top eight Porsche videos of 2015

2015 has seen us spend many hours watching videos about Porsches; it has definitely been time well spent. From scintillating onboard footage to some illuminating mini-documentaries, here are our eight favourites from this year:

Jeff Zwart onboard at Pikes Peak

As well as being an ace cinematographer, Jeff Zwart is pretty handy behind the wheel of a Porsche 911, as this video from his class-winning Pikes Peak run proves.

Onboard the Porsche 991.2 Carrera with Hurley Haywood

Rennsport Reunion V gave us plenty of awesome video moments however, our ride in the new 991.2 Carrera with Le Mans legend, Hurley Haywood definitely topped the list.

Porsche 991 Turbo S launch control

Yes, the 991 Turbo S has been out for a few years now but its fearsome launch control abilities never fail to astound us, so we decided to capture them on camera.

Porsche 918 flatout in the Outback

There aren’t many places in the world where you can allow a Porsche 918 Spyder to completely stretch its legs. The Australian Outback is one of those places.

Falken 997 GT3 R at the Nordschleife

Driving around the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife is tough enough in a road car. So imagine what it’s like in a 997 GT3 R racer. At night. Now watch this video from Team Falken.

2015 Total 911 Awards highlights

This year marked the first running of our prestigious Total 911 Awards. At a lavish London ceremony, we celebrated the best of the best in the Porsche industry. Here are the highlights.

Josh Sadler racing at Rennsport Reunion V

Founder of Autofarm, Josh Sadler had always dreamed of racing in the USA, so when he got an invitation to drive at Rennsport Reunion V, his answer was pretty obvious.

Magnus Walker’s two 911 Turbo icons

Beautifully shot by eGarage, this video with Magnus Walker didn’t focus unduly on the Urban Outlaw, instead allowing an interesting comparison between the 930 3.0 and the latest 991 Turbo.
