Supercup racer Ben Barker joins Total 911 line up

Ben Barker, the British Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup racer, has joined our triumvirate of motorsport columnists for the 2014 season. He joins factory Porsche driver, Nick Tandy and Carrera Cup GB debutant, Josh Webster.

The 22-year-old will give Total 911 readers an insight into life in the paddock of the Formula One-supporting Porsche 911 series.

“I am looking forward to shedding a light on the 2014 Supercup challenge to the great eyes of Total 911 readers,” Barker explained. “It should give the readers an in depth, detailed view on the category, and my job within the Supercup team I choose to partner with.”

Barker, who finished the 2013 Supercup season on a high at Abu Dhabi, will be back in the premier Porsche 911 one-make championship in 2014 and Total 911 will exclusively reveal his team for the new season when it is confirmed.

The regular columns from all three drivers will appear in each issue of Total 911 throughout this season, starting from issue 112, on sale on 27 March. Of course, if you can’t wait until then, you catch Nick Tandy’s first column in issue 111 on 4 March.

Ahead of the Supercup’s season opener in Barcelona on 9 May, make sure you check out Ben’s career profile too.
