Spotted: Mark Webber, a 991 GT3 RS and the Nürburgring Norschleife
Last week, while on the hunt for Porsche 991.2 test mules, our Total 911 spies spotted a certain Mark Webber pounding around the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife in the latest 911 GT3 RS.
The Australian racer, a factory driver for Porsche’s 919 Hybrid LMP1 programme, was seen at the wheel of the latest Rennsport while a camera crew filmed him inside the cockpit and from a Volkswagen Passat tracking car.
Along with a host of GoPro cameras strapped to 991 GT3 RS’s roll cage and lightweight body panels, it looks like a new video from Porsche is not far away. Hopefully it can rival Brendon Hartley’s excellent efforts aboard the same car.
