Special Edition Porsche 991 S Martini Racing revealed
Porsche has released details of a special edition 911 to celebrate the manufacturer’s return to top-flight racing at Le Mans. The Martini Racing Edition 991 Carrera S comes courtesy of the Exclusive department and features a choice of two body colours (white or black) to complement the iconic blue-red Martini racing design. Just 80 examples of this special edition 911 will be made available worldwide.
Aside from the iconic livery, external features on the Martini Racing 991 Carrera S include an Aerokit Cup front apron and rear spoiler, while inside, ‘911 Carrera S – Martini Racing Edition’ will be illuminated in red along the stainless steel door sills on each side of the 991. The interior will also feature a commemorative Martini Racing Edition badge, while standard equipment will include a Sport Design steering wheel, Sport Chrono, Bose sound system, plus all-electric sports seats in black leather.
Available with the 400hp, 3.8-litre DFI engine only, the Martini Racing Edition 991 is immediately available to a host of European countries, with the special edition available in China from August, plus Japan and Latin America from October.
Porsche has also revealed the Martini decals will also be sold via Porsche Tequipment as an aftermarket addition for select 991 models. Prices for the Martini Racing Edition are yet to be released, but on these first pictures, what do you think – and would you buy it?
