Porsche 991 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition revealed

Hot on the heels of the 991 Carrera S Martini Edition, the Exclusive department at Weissach has been busy producing this: the ‘991 Turbo S – Exclusive GB Edition’.

Production of this special 991 Turbo S – built to celebrate the four decades since the arrival of the legendary Porsche 930 – will be limited to just 40 cars, with all of them destined for the British Isles.

Priced at £159,054, the 911 Turbo S – Exclusive GB Edition will be available in a choice of three classic Porsche colours: GT Silver, Guards Red, and White, while the black leather interior features a number of personalised touches courtesy of Porsche Exclusive.

The Sport Design wheel features a Guards Red centre marking, with similarly coloured contrast stitching, while carbon interior trim is lavished over the Turbo’s cockpit, including carbon fibre PDK levers.

Guards Red floor mats are a throwback to the original 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo, while the seatbelts also get the rouge treatment. The centre storage lid gains a Union flag embossing, leaving you in no doubt as to where this car is heading.

On the outside, the plethora of black trimmings, including the upper rear wing section, door handles, and the Sport Classic wheels have been chosen to evoke the look of the classic 930, unveiled to the world forty years ago.

Mechanically, the car is the same as the standard 991 Turbo S, with Sport Chrono Plus, Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control all coming as standard.

Each 911 Turbo S – Exclusive GB Edition owner will receive a personalised indoor car cover too, along with a photo book documenting their car’s production.

Orders are currently being taken for the 991 Turbo S GB Edition so UK-based customers who want more information on this special version should head to your local OPC now.
