Öhlins Porsche 911 suspension announced
Öhlins Suspension have announced that their Road and Track range of dampers will be available for Porsche 911 owners. The new suspension upgrade kits will be available through online parts supplier, Design911.
The bespoke damper kits will be available for both 996 and 997-type Porsche 911 vehicles, with suspension upgrades for both Carrera and GT3 model variants.
The Öhlins Road and Track suspension range is borne out of the company’s many successes in the field of competition, with the dual-flow valve technology enabling Öhlins to build a lighter damper that still responds like a traditional MacPherson strut.
Like Öhlins competition suspension, the Road and Track range features both bump and rebound adjustment via a single, machined dial, as well as height adjustment via the threaded spring platforms.
Both front and rear units are designed to withstand even the toughest conditions, with full dust and weather protection making these ideal dampers for Porsche 911 owners who like to use their car all year round.
Available through Design911 (who also stock an incredible variety of Porsche 911 spares for all ages of car), the Öhlins dampers come with a two-year warranty.
Also, thanks to their racing heritage, the units are easily serviceable, and can accommodate a wide variety of aftermarket springs for drivers who wish to use a custom spring rate.
