Magnus Walker’s ’72 STR up for auction
Magnus Walker has announced his intention to sell the hot-rod inspired ’72 911 STR II from his collection. The Total 911 contributor and esteemed Urban Outlaw of the Porsche world is to part with his latest and greatest creation at the Pebble Beach 2013 auction on Saturday, August 17th.
The ’72 STR project has received worldwide acclaim since its completion in Spring this year, going on to feature on the cover of our special edition issue 100 before appearing on television via the likes of Jay Leno’s Garage, Fifth Gear and Adam Carolla’s CarCast.
The vehicle is classified as lot 61 at the auction and has a current sale estimate of between $125,000 – $150,000. This isn’t the first time Magnus has sold a prominent project car, previously selling his first ’72 STR project to an enthusiast in France.
