Total 911 at Parrfest 2012: part 1

Total 911 were in attendance of the inaugural Parrfest at Brands Hatch yesterday, where customers of the famous racing company could meet the team and take their own Porsches out on track to hone their racing skills.

We were treated to plenty of action all day at the circuit, from both eager 911 enthusiasts intent on getting quicker lap times, as well as the Parr team who were on hand to offer advice on how to get the best from car and track.

Parr also brought along a fine collection of racing 911’s themselves, including the Carrera Cup car driven by young protege Ben Barker, who spent the day giving hot laps to those who wanted the ultimate driving experience.

Parr owner Paul Robe said the idea of the day was to make the team more approachable to fellow 911 enthusiasts: “we want enthusiasts to turn up and have fun, and see that we’re an approachable team and people can come and ask us questions. We love racing, but just as importantly, we love racing with others.”

Part one of the action is documented in these stunning Total 911 pictures, and a bumper part two of our Parrfest coverage will be live on Monday. Please click through twice on the images to enjoy their full size.
