The 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed once again proved itself as the world’s most lavish motoring garden party, wowing thousands of spectators over a jam-packed four days in Chichester. Lord March’s motoring bonanza boasted an array of great sporting machines on display which, from a Porsche perspective, including a host of Le Mans winners both old and new – including the no.2 Porsche 919, which only weeks earlier had clinched victory in the 85th running of the world’s most famous 24-hour race.

There were also public debuts for the 991.2 GT3 and 991 Turbo S Exclusive Edition, which included spirited runs up the famous hillclimb course, though of course headline news for Porsche fans was the world exclusive unveiling of the ferocious 991 GT2 RS. You can read all about the 991 GT2 RS in the new issue of Total 911, out July 12th, but in the meantime indulge in our gallery of the Porsche presence at this year’s 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. We can’t wait for 2018 already!
