Falken Porsche 911 GT3 R wallpapers
A shipping yard is not a Porsche 911’s normal environment. If that 911 happens to be Team Falken Tyres’ 997 GT3 R racer, the unusual juxtaposition is intensified.
However, the photo shoot that resulted in these frankly stunning images is not without its merits. The owners of this particular yard are used as distributors for Falkens tyres, explaining both the unusual setting and the level of access acquired.
Shot by German car photographer, Frederic Schlosser, the shoot took eight hours, concluding at 2am in the morning. Not only was it a remarkable location, it was a remarkable effort by all involved.
Falken has now made the photos available for fans to download as wallpapers, along with a range of shots from the team’s 2013 VLN season (a series of endurance races around the fearsome Nürburgring Nordschleife).
