As an owner of a 997 Carrera S I find it astounding that it’s only worthy of a 3 star rating. I’ve previously driven a 997 Turbo, and although slightly faster, I didn’t find the performance, handling or any of the other driving characteristics any better than my Carrera S, admittedly the test drive was only over about 20 country miles.

The Carrera S was voted Evo car of the year in 2004 I believe, and to my mind was fully justified, so to my mind your rating of this model doesn’t add up at all.

In my opinion, I also believe that some of the ratings look debatable as some quite ordinary cars receive pretty high ratings and I really can’t get my head round why this could be- might it be rarity/value based?
