996.2 Carrera 2 (Gen2 996) 2001-2004
Face-lifted with Turbo-style headlamps and revised front and rear bumpers. Fitted with the more powerful 3.6-litre engine, VarioCam Plus and other refinements. Manual and Tiptronic transmission was improved on. The cabin also received minor updates from the first generation 996.
