Video: Porsche 997 Carrera GTS B59 Edition
There can’t be many official Porsche dealers who have been celebrated through a special edition 911 built by Porsche Exclusive (creators of cars such as this). In fact, we can only think of one: Brumos Porsche of Jacksonville, Florida.
In 2011, the Porsche 997 Carrera GTS B59 Edition – an official collaboration between the storied American dealership and Porsche – was built to honour the five 24 Hours of Daytona victories achieved by Brumos’ star driver, Hurley Haywood (our ‘911 Hero’ from issue 100).
Only five were built, making this one of the rarest 911s to ever leave the Zuffenhausen factory, and this fantastic film catches up with the owners of the remarkable quintet to discuss their experiences of the Brumos legend. Enjoy.
