Since then, the upcoming Rennsport has been spotted without camoflauge in Sweden and we now know that the latest addition to the 911 GT3 RS legacy will feature an all-new engine pushing out around 500bhp. There may even be a manual version!
Delayed by nearly a year thanks to the Porsche 991 GT3’s engine dramas, the waiting is nearly over with Porsche scheduled to reveal the new 991 GT3 RS at next month’s Geneva Motor Show, starting on 3 March, where it will be joined by the new Porsche Cayman GT4.
So, get those Rennsport juices flowing again by watching the Porsche 991 GT3 RS tear up the infamous Nordschleife, proving that it will be the closest you can get to a full bore Cup racer this side of donning some fireproof overalls. Enjoy.
