Video: Porsche 911 GT America onboard at Daytona
With the 24 Hours of Daytona taking place this weekend, now seems like the perfect opportunity to acquaint yourself with the Daytona International Speedway road course that the competitors will be using for the 52nd running of the American endurance race.
This video, taken from the Roar Before the Rolex 24 test at the start of January, allows you to ride onboard with Porsche 911 legend, Patrick Huisman as he puts the new Porsche 911 GT America through its paces.
Huisman, who dominated the Mobil 1 Supercup during the 996 era, is known as ‘Mr Supercup’ thanks to his 24 victories and four titles in the Formula One-supporting 911 series.
This may only be a test day, and speed may not be everything in a 24-hour endurance race, but Dutch driver, Huisman is certainly not hanging around in this video originally featured on The RACER Channel.
