Total 911 issue 137 on sale now

With the 991.2 generation Porsche 911 Carreras going turbocharged (as you will have read about in issue 134) the question on everybody’s lips is, “What is going to happen to the new Porsche 911 Turbo?”

Thankfully, the latest issue of Total 911 – on sale in stores and online from today – sets out to answer that question as the Porsche 991.2 Turbo goes head to head with its baby brother, the latest 911 Carrera 4S.

Is the Gen2 991 C4S – still available with a manual gearbox option – now the best all-wheel drive Porsche 911, or has the 991.2 Turbo managed to hold its own thanks to a boost in power and a number of subtle revisions? You’ll have to pick up a copy of issue 137 to find out.

Also inside the new issue, two identically specced Porsche 991 Carreras do battle. The only difference between the two cars? One is a naturally aspirated Gen1 and the other is the latest, turbocharged Gen2.

Can the latest iteration of Zuffenhausen’s darling neunelfer still thrill despite the forced induction? We took the pair to some of Yorkshire’s best roads in order to find out.

We also get behind the wheel of a regal Rennsport 911 with a test drive of a very special 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS and we’ve got an ultimate guide to the Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S.

To read all of this, plus much, much more, pick up Total 911 issue 137 in store today. Alternatively, you can order your copy online for home delivery, or download it straight to your digital device now.
