Total 911 issue 129 on sale now

For many, the summer holidays are just a few days away, so it is with perfect timing that the latest issue of Total 911 hits newsstands around the shelves, featuring our four-car Speedster mega test.

We assembled every generation of Porsche’s open top icon (including a first Total 911 appearance for the Porsche 356) for a seaside test drive that charts the history of Zuffenhausen’s alfresco heroes.

From the aforementioned 356, right through the Exclusive-built 997, we get behind the wheel of each Speedster to find out what makes these open-top Porsches so special.

Elsewhere in issue 129, the summery theme continues with a guide to the Porsche 911 2.2S, a Targa bodied version of the car Steve McQueen made famous and we put the first and latest Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolets head-to-head.

We also sample a pair of modified Porsche 996 GT3s to see if tuning can be better than stock, and we head to the Welsh mountains for a classic road trip in a Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0.

There’s also an interview with factory Porsche racer (and fan boy) Patrick Long, as well as our regular column with 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Nick Tandy.

For all of this, and much, much more, pick up Total 911 issue 129 in store now. Alternatively, order your copy online for home delivery, or download it straight to your digital device.
