Total 911 issue 122 now on sale

A New Year and a new issue of Total 911 waiting on newsstands for your delectation. Kickstarting 2015, issue 122 immediately grabs your attention with the Gulf livery-inspired Porsche 997 GT3 RS on the front cover.

However, this is no normal Rennsport 911: this is SharkWerk’s 4.1-litre Porsche 997 GT3 RS. That’s right, 4,150cc of Mezger magic sits at the rear of this highly-tuned RS. The ‘Supreme 997’ tagline should be starting to make sense now.

For some, the SharkWerk’s 997 GT3 RS 4.1 will need no introduction – the car has been trialled in various guises (including in this video from last February) over the last year or so – however, the testing is now over and Total 911 is first to grab the keys.

Also inside issue 122, we take Magnus Walker, one of his 3.0-litre 930s and the latest 991 Turbo out on the open road for the ultimate forced induction face-off. First or latest: we get the Urban Outlaw’s take on this Turbo head-to-head.

There’s also a test of the Porsche 911’s various non-manual transmissions, we get behind the wheel of a Porsche 964 Cup racer, and we chart the 25-year history of the Carrera Cup, Weissach’s legendary race series.

To read all this and more, you can pick up Total 911 issue 122 in store now. Alternatively, you can order your copy online for home delivery, or download it straight to your digital device for instant access.
