Christmas present ideas from the Total 911 team

Tamiya Porsche 993 GT2

The Total 911 advent calendar tells us that Christmas day is just six days away. If you’re still searching for that perfect Porsche gift, look no further than these two very different present ideas.

The first are these awesome self-assembly kits from model giants, Tamiya. Made of plastic, these 1/24 scale models feature every single detail, from the engine to the interior.

In order to get their famed accuracy, Tamiya is reported to have stripped a 911 road car to the bare shell in the Seventies, measuring all the components to ensure their models would be as exact as possible. The only problem was they couldn’t put it back together afterwards!
