The sub £30k 997 Turbo has arrived

It’s well documented that with prices from as little as £20,000, (and £30,000 securing a great example) a 996 Turbo offers one of the best used supercar bargains around at present. However, its newer Turbo brethren in the form of the 997, complete with increased performance and more traditionalist-friendly aesthetics, is still some way off such bargain basement prices – or is it?

We recently spied a Gen1 997 Turbo for sale for the princely sum of just £28,995 – but the caveat is the supercar’s mileage, recorded at 124,000. The early 997 Turbo in question does come with a full service history courtesy of Official Porsche Centres and more recently an independent specialist, but is this a 480bhp bargain or a nightmare Nine-Eleven?
