Porsche 911 GT1-98 arrives at Rennsport Reunion V

If you hadn’t already guessed, we’ve got a serious case of Rennsport Reunion fever today. It’s the opening day of Porsche’s fifth motorsport extravaganza, once again taking place at the iconic Laguna Seca Raceway in California.

If you weren’t already in the mood for a weekend of full-bore Porsche action (both on a off the track), this video will definitely change your mind as Le Mans legend, Derek Bell explains the importance of the event.

Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, you can watch the 1998 Le Mans-winning Porsche 911 GT1-98 (a car that continued the legacy of the iconic 917) take its first tentative steps onto the hallowed Laguna Seca tarmac ahead of this weekend’s parades and races.
