In what we believe is a world first for a car magazine, Total 911 has shot an entire feature using an Apple iPhone 4.
Usually, we use professional camera equipment costing thousands of pounds (and we shall continue to do so). However, we were so impressed by the results from the new iPhone we thought that, just for once, we’d break with tradition.
The car was a brand-new 997 Carrera S fitted with the optional PowerKit that boosts power from 385bhp to a stunning 408bhp.
The photographs were all processed in-camera (or should be in-phone?) using the £1.79 Best Camera app – named after the saying ‘the best camera is the one that’s with you’.
The results are impressive on-screen and just as good in the printed magazine – pick up a copy from your newsagent or buy online.
