993 Carrera S – what the camera doesn’t see

Photoshoots are rarely without their challenges but this morning’s in the South Downs had more than its fair share. To start with, it rained for the first time in weeks – and, boy, did it rain!

Then, we were joined by another photographer, shooting a brace of Infinitis (is that the correct plural?). And, finally, two trucks full of Portaloos appeared in the background – assumedly getting ready for the horse racing at Goodwood next week.
Still, with some judicious positioning of camera and car, and dodging showers, we managed to pull some decent shots out of the bag. Indeed, the stormy weather led to some great skies.
Now, your starter for ten – the Porsche is unique in this country. There isn’t another one like it. Why?

Looks like a 2S, but can’t think of anything else that will make it special. Maybe a hint?
