It seems that games maker Electronic Arts has a monopoly on using Porsches in computer games. From what we understand, Porsche has agreed a deal with EA that means that other games, such as Forza Motorsport, can’t use Porsches (although Forza gets around it by using Ruf-branded 911s).

Need for Speed’s a lot of fun but it goes for action and adventure rather than the realism of some other games. In other words, you’ll be treating your Porsche 911 badly!
